Useful trick in MacOS: rapidly looking up words

I’ve just discovered a extremely useful trick in Mac OS X. In any Cocoa window (most modern OS X applications are now Cocoa), highlighting or hovering your mouse over a word then press Ctrl-Cmd-D will pop-up a panel with the definition of that word (as in the Dictionary application). Even better, if you keep pressing that key combination and move your mouse over other words, their definitions will be shown until you release the keys.
